THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER IN NEWCASTLE

COLOUR OBSTACLE RUSH

Brighten up your summer with the Colour Obstacle Run at Newcastle Racecourse, High Gosforth Park, where you can expect a 5K run packed with an obstacle course, playful coloured powders and a thrilling atmosphere. Check out their website for ticket prices and timings.

 

PAINT AND SIP – THE ALCHEMIST

The alchemist are offering several ‘Paint and Sip’ evenings this summer, giving you the opportunity to take a painting class while enjoying some of the delicious cocktails (or mocktails!) they have to offer. Perfect for a unique night out.

Tickets are £17.50 for class only, £25 with complimentary cocktails.

Parties are being held at The Alchemist on Thursday 22nd June, Thursday 27th July,  Thursday 24th August. Booking required, due to limited availability.

 

SCREEN ON THE GREEN

Screen on the Green is returning to Newcastle, and it will not disappoint. It will be streaming films, Women’s world cup, Tour de France, Wimbledon and many more, so go along for free and relax in Newcastle’s much loved Old Eldon Square. The screen will be in the city from July 3rd – September 3rd, so there is plenty of time to check it out.

 

THE HOPPINGS

This iconic fairground is returning to Newcastle’s Town Moor this summer from Friday 16th June until Saturday 24th June. With rides to suit everyone from small children to adults, this is guaranteed to be an unforgettable day out, suitable for all the family and your friends.
