WHAT’S ON IN NEWCASTLE THIS SUMMER? EVENTS AND FESTIVALS 2023

This summer, Newcastle is going to be buzzing with a variety of events and activities for you to enjoy! Here are just a few of the exciting festivities the city has to offer:

 

LOOSEFEST 2023

LooseFest is returning to Newcastle, and this year’s line up is not one to miss. Expect artists including Ben Hemsley, Schak, Sean Paul, Patrick Topping, Jax Jones and many more.

Being held on the Town Moor from Saturday 5th August – Sunday 6th August. Tickets start from £45.00.

 

NOUGHTY 90’s FESTIVAL

Travel back to the 90’s at the Noughty 90’s Festival, with retro bars and food stalls, a roller disco and funfair rides, along with a fantastic lineup of artists and DJs.

An amazing, fun-filled weekend from the 26th – 27th August, located at Leazes Park, tickets selling for £35.00 per person. Be sure to head along with friends and family for an amazing weekend.

 

NEWCASTLE PRIDE FESTIVAL

This incredible festival is definitely one to check out, with a range of food and drink, bars, fairground rides, music and parades all included. With free entry to the community village, and a £6 fee for the main festival arena, you are bound to have a fabulous day celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

Being held at the Town Moor on the 22nd – 23rd of July.

 

NEWCASTLE MELA

Head over to Exhibition Park this August bank holiday to enjoy this wonderful, multi-cultural festival. Indulge in the wide variety of food and drink as well as stalls, live performances, dancing, rides, crafts and activities. Head over to Newcastle Mela website to find out more. Free entry.

 

OUSEBURN FESTIVAL

Help celebrate Ouseburn Valley and it’s local businesses and charities by heading along to The Ouseburn Festival on Saturday 15th July and Sunday 16th July. Packed with live music, street food, family activities, drinks and many more, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time. Perfect for a day out with family or friends.
