Filmore & Union swears by the motto ‘all in moderation’ and applies this to their food and lives and even quaintly decorated restaurants. The restaurant in Jesmond has been so popular since opening that another store in John Lewis Newcastle will be opening at the end of February! With so much to choose from on the menu including beautifully made breakfasts, lovely light lunches and delicious dinners, there’s not much more you could ask for. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options are available such as the famous Filmore Street Veggie Wrap and there’s a 20% discount for students on all food and drink!

The Bohemian

The Bohemian provides a gorgeous setting and gorgeous food, ideal for groups of veggies, vegans and the likes. Out of all the restaurants in Newcastle, The Bohemian is one of the few vegan restaurants that focus on only vegan cuisine. Right in the centre of town, close to the O2 Academy, you don’t have to go far to experience Morocco with The Bohemian’s famous Moroccan Nights (3 courses for £21.99) or the mouth watering nachos for only £5.10. With mains starting at £9.95 for a whole 12 inch vegan pizza, prices are very reasonable. A ‘to go’ option is available if you can’t take the time to sit down which is handy for the health fanatic or vegan on the move.
